Alignment & Selection Protocol

|
The Governing Principle

Summer Scholars Intensive™ does not fill seats. It crafts a cohort. Every aspect of the selection process reflects that distinction, from the sequence of gates to the language of the discourse.

Private Placement

Bespoke consultation for family offices, partners, and private advisors. Seats are allocated directly from our reserved institutional quota on a rolling basis. An exclusive allocation of twenty founding scholar seats has been designated for 2027.

July 1, 2026

Prospectus Opens

The Courage Curve 2027 Institutional Prospectus & Selection Protocol becomes available. Prospectus requests are audited manually. Should seats remain after private placement, early submissions ensure thorough evaluation ahead of general pool. Request Prospectus →

General Selection

Should seats remain, the general candidate pool opens. Subject strictly to remaining availability.

March 1, 2027 (5:00 PM EST)

Cohort Stability Gate

Firm logistical deadline. Clear funds for the full investment balance must be received in our account. Failure to secure cleared funds constitutes an immediate forfeiture of the seat. The seat automatically releases to the Deep Audit waitlist pool.

June 21 – 27, 2027

First-Week Integrity Window™

Intensive Begins. Each cohort scholar must belong here, be positioned to thrive, and be ready for what it demands. If the first week reveals a mismatch in commitment, the placement is dissolved immediately by the Director and the investment returned in full.

Sept 2027 – May 2028

The Guided Year™

Monthly synchronous briefings and tactical coaching alignment across high-stakes institutional environments.

Diagnostic Assessment

The Diagnostic establishes the scholar's rhetorical baseline through substantive written responses—our first look at how a candidate thinks, articulates, and engages with ideas under structured conditions.

The Assessment Parameters

Rhetorical Baseline Diagnostic

The Diagnostic is the first gate and the foundation upon which the Alignment Interview is built. It is structured to evaluate a candidate’s baseline writing clarity, logical analysis, and intellectual presence under structured boundaries; extracting data on how a candidate processes complex arguments and holds ground under strategic pressure.

Released concurrently with the Institutional Prospectus & Selection Protocol, it ensures every participant enters the live interview with mutual strategic alignment.

Prospectus & Strategy

The Courage Curve 2027 Institutional Prospectus & Selection Protocol forms the program's conceptual foundation. Admission is reserved for candidates showing tactical alignment. If seats remain after private placement, requests submitted before General Selection are reviewed first.

Selection Process · Stage II By Invitation, Determined By Diagnostic

Alignment Interview

A direct conversation between the scholar, their family, and the Founding Director. The Interview is evaluative in both directions. The program assesses communicative potential; the family assesses if the methodology is the right fit.
Conditional Selection Notice Candidates demonstrating during the dialogue either present command or the unmistakable promise of its development may receive an immediate, discretionary institutional signal of intent to admit. This fast-tracks the scholar’s cohort allocation, conditioned strictly upon subsequent academic record verification and letter of commendation submission during Stage III.

Selection Process · Stage III By Invitation Only · Verification & Registration

Authorized Candidate Application

Following successful mutual confirmation of fit, or receipt of a discretionary fast-track signal, from the Stage II Alignment Interview, candidates are invited to complete formal onboarding. Stage III functions strictly as the final administrative verification to finalize enrollment for the Intensive.
  • • Academic Record: An official or unofficial transcript verifying a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5.
  • • Letter of Commendation: A single endorsement from an educator substantiating the scholar's capacity for rigorous, articulate discussion.
Force Multipliers
Executive communication and leadership presence are not finishing school skills. They are force multipliers: making what is already strong exponentially stronger. The scholar who enters this program with intellectual promise leaves with the presence to make that promise impossible to ignore.
